Quote1 Hey kids! Now you can play along with Sex Bob-omb at home! It's easy, because they're kind of crappy! Look, this song only uses 3 chords! 4/4 rock, fast, hard, sloppy. Quote2
Infobox about "Launchpad McQuack".

LaunchPad McQuack is a song written by Bryan Lee O'Malley and performed by Sex Bob-omb in Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life. It is performed at one of Sex Bob-omb's practices in front of Young Neil and Knives Chau.

HistoryEdit

"LauchPad McQuack" is not the actual title of the song, according to Stephen Stills, it is simply referred to as such by Scott Pilgrim as he does not know the actual title of the song and the real title is never revealed to the reader. Despite the song's self-admitted inferior quality, it still managed to entice Knives, quickly making Sex Bob-omb her favourite band and furthering her love for Scott.

In vs. the WorldEdit

In Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (film), Scott once again incorrectly calls a song "LaunchPad McQuack" before starting band practice in front of Young Neil and Knives. Stephen tries to tell Knives and Neil that "LaunchPad McQuack" isn't the actual title of the song, but is interrupted by Kim Pine. The soundtrack lists this song's title as We Are Sex Bob-omb.

LyricsEdit

I, can't be sure
But I think I heard you crawl through the door
You, didn't say a word
And I think you tried to go to bed but instead you went to the floor
You've been out drinking with the other boys again
Telling them we are only friends
Making out and making noise

Oh stop pretending
That this isn't really ending
And I will stop resenting you
When you stop resenting me

Oh oh oh

I waited up late
Maybe a bit too late
Until you finally came in
Where do I end and where do you begin?

You've been out partying with guys I've never met
Drinking beer and smoking cigarettes
Killing brain cells and killing me

Oh stop pretending
That this isn't really ending
And I will stop resenting you
When you stop resenting me

Why don't you stop pretending
That this game is never-ending
And I will stop resenting you
When you stop resenting
Stop resenting
Stop resenting
Stop resenting me
